The season of love....

We love parties.....

We had a playgroup Valentine's Party at our house to start off the Valentine weekend. 13 little ones decorating cookies, making valentine bags and playing. Lindsey was on her best behavior (Yipee!) and we missed (well, not really missed his intensity :)) Jack who was having his own party at preschool.

We love seeing old friends....

Our college buddies, the Porters, were up visiting with their 2 cute little boys. We met for dinner at Red Robin and then let them run around the mall playground for a few hours. It was so fun to see each other and catch up!

We love going out.....

Our Stake hosted an adult dinner dance. My dad watched the kids and we spent a few hours eating yummy food, visiting friends and dancing to the LAME music. We were hoping to bust a move, but the music was not conducive to cool dancing :(

We love sledding.....

Since we have not had one flake of snow this winter and way too many snow clothes to go to waste, we headed up to Snoqualmie pass for a day of sledding. The kids loved it! Especially Lindsey (although the picture shows otherwise). As long as her feet didn't touch the snow she was a happy camper (ride down the hill, pull her up, etc.). She even giggled when she got snow in her face. Amazing. During family prayer that night, I prompted her to say, "We're thankful we could go sledding." And then she added "And ice in my eyes. And the Lord commanded."
