We have a floor under all these boxes?!?

We have survived our second move in 6 months! We found a cute little home about 3 miles away from our old home and moved in last weekend. The day- April 19. The weather- light snow showers. What is wrong with this picture? We had a great crew to help us move in the snow and had the job done in 2 hours. The cleaning of our old house took triple the time, probably because it was a one woman show (me). We are happily settling into our new home. There is plenty of room to run around thanks to a huge bonus room above the garage. The amount of toys we own for 2 children blows me away every time I walk into that room. We live in a cute, quiet neighborhood with two parks. Jack is in heaven. We are so grateful for our new home!

Mr. Move-it a.k.a Quinn a.k.a Clint (He has been wearing his hair differently and I think he looks like a totally different person so I have been calling him Quinn :))

Our cute house

Jack is obsessed with blankets and makes beds, caves, etc. all over the house. His newest favorite place: the hall closet.

The little peanut has discovered climbing and has loved all of the boxes we've had in the house. Notice the yogurt gel she put in her hair at lunch and her huge onsie (she has a long torso so she keeps busting the buttons on her 18 month onsies). Jack wore his army pants and a blue striped shirt earlier that day as well. And we went out in public.

Conference Weekend

We spent Saturday at our house listening and watching conference on the computer. It actually worked out well because Jack played by himself and Lindsey slept so Clint and I actually were able to listen to the talks!
Sunday, we spent the day at my parents' house because they can watch conference on TV. The day was not as pleasant as Saturday. Jack was 110% energy and hit his head on the doorjam while throwing a tantrum. His head got huge, but luckily, the skin didn't break open. Lindsey has had severe separation anxiety recently, so I either had to be holding her or be right next to her or she would be fussy. She is just starting the cruising thing, so she is still a bit unstable on her feet. She fell against the corner of the coffee table and bit through her lip. Clint was nursing a jammed finger from playing basketball the night before, so he was of little help. I tried to listen to as much of conference as I could, but it was a bit difficult. I did get to listen to Elder Ballard's talk on motherhood, which was outstanding and uplifting. I was only uplifted for a bit though- when we got home, the kiddos were still out of control and I was exhausted. It was seriously the longest day ever. Then, Lindsey didn't fall asleep until 11:45- we tried everything from tylenol to a 30 minute drive. I collapsed into bed only to be woken up at 6 am when she decided to wake up for the day. I think this is payback time for the easy baby she was. Ahhhhh!
I took a picture of the Jack's injury- today it is looking much better. :)

The non-sleeper. And to think she looks so innocent by day.......
